In the first experiment of its kind, Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, collaborated with Seb Jones, an entrepreneurial Speyside brewer, to create a new IPA craft and pioneer the way for a new kind of single malt whisky. Brewed in bespoke craft IPA barrels, this single malt expression is imbued with zesty citrus and hop notes. This malt is proof that remarkable feats can be achieved, when great people get together.

Τasting Characteristics

Rich golden colour and aromas of green apple, William’s pear, beer and fresh herbs. Citrus flavors, followed by vanilla and hops. The latter is sustained in the long aftertaste.

The Process

Many years ago, Malt Master, David Stewart, realised that the traditional whisky making method could be pushed further and pioneered the process we now know as finishing. Today, it is taken a step further, with India Pale Ale Cask. It is the first time this has been achieved in whisky industry.

Served

Ideally served in a low glass, straight or with a few drops of water, to highlight its aromas.
