The process

Carpano Antica Formula is the original recipe of Benedetto Carpano and in fact the first vermouth ever made! Made from Piemonte muscat and rich wines from Southern Italy, the taste and aroma of Antica Formula come from carefully selected mountain herbs. Carpano Antica Formula is produced in limited quantities and sold in blown glass bottles.

Ideal for cold drinks as an aperitif or after a meal, Carpano Antica Formula can also be used as an ingredient in refined cocktails, such as the famous Negroni or Americano.
