Τasting Characteristics

Old Vines Rapsani produced from low yields and top-notch quality grapes is savoury and mineral with a core of herbs and incense along bright red fruit. Well structured and elegant on the palate it will reward cellaring.

Vineyard

The vineyards are found at an altitude of 550 - 700 m on the north-east Olympus slopes, in Prosilia and Tourtoura.

Vinification – Maturation

Classic red, it is matured in French oak barrels for 18 months and in bottles for another year.

Ηarmony

It goes well with grilled beef or lamb, cooked meats with rich red sauces, traditional Greek dishes, moussaka and mature cheeses.
