The rumor that the vermouths of the Riserva Carlo Alberto series are named after the King of the Piedmont region of Sardinia, Carlo Alberto (1831-1849) has now been established.

Tasting Characteristics

Clear, ruby colour with reddish highlights. Balanced taste with an intense play between the sweet notes of plum, cherry and red fruit and the bitter dimension given by the herbs and peels of the orange. In the nose we discover hints of herbs, fresh summer fruits, thyme, damask. In the aftertaste we discover notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, tarragon and clove.

The process

Riserva Carlo Alberto Rosso is a sweet vermouth flavoured with 25 carefully selected spices, herbs, flowers, berries and fruits, soaked for 40 days in 45% pure alcohol. Aged for 3 to 6 months.

Ideal to be consumed plain as an aperitivo, but also as an ingredient to take off classic and non-cocktails.
