Tasting Characteristics

Gin with a transparent almost crystal color. On the nose you will recognize the aromas of classic juniper, coriander and the scent of anise rising from the glass. The taste is dry with almost salty and light citrus notes.

Process

Malfy Gins are made by vacuum distillation. This is a relatively new technique in the world of gin production, allowing a lower temperature to achieve evaporation and therefore does not change the composition of the herbs (avoiding the heat associated with degradation), this way we can keep our botanicals fresh and tasty. Carefully selected ingredients are separated into collections and distilled separately to bring out their flavors. Our own citrus botanicals are infused with alcohol and then pressed in a traditional basket press, this extract is in turn distilled together with fine Italian juniper. The individual spirits are then expertly blended together to create our own progressive take on the fruity gin.

Plain, with ice, with tonic or in cocktails.
