Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has strong aromas of lime, juniper, eucalyptus, mint, angelica and pine. Floral elements, mainly of lavender are present, accompanied by spicy elements of cinnamon and clove. Notes of wood are also felt. In the mouth it is bittersweet, with strong flavours of bergamot and orange peels and subtle smoky elements. Dried raspberries and earthy hints are noticed in the finish.

The process

Monkey 47 is distilled in batches, is unfiltered and combines the British traditions, the exotic charm of India and the ancient, untouched roots of the Black Forest, with unsurpassed handmade craftsmanship. It contains 47 different ingredients and it is bottled at 47% vol.
