Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has aromas of nuts, lilac, cardamon and apple. In the mouth it tastes like agave, oak, bran and apple. Its finish is spicy, with agave elements.

The process

Olmeca Reposado is a high-quality tequila, aged for 6 months in 200 liter ex-bourbon American oak casks. Its specialized and unique production process combines hand-picked agave plants, red brick ovens, yeast and distillation in small copper distillers. Produced exclusively at the Destileria Colonial de Jalisco located in Arandas, in the Los Altos de Jalisco area, at an altitude of 2,100 meters. It is an area with a designation of origin. The rich red soil of the area is the key element for the unique profile of this particular tequila.
