Home of Benriach 10 Y.O. is Speyside. The distillery uses water from the underground Burnside Spring that flows nearby, barley from the surrounding crops and peat from the hills around.

Τasting Characteristics

It has intense aromas of smoke, honey and oak. In the mouth, the persistent sense of peat is mixed with spices, nuts and tropical fruits. The aftertaste is long, as well as sweet.

The Process

Benriach 'The Smoky Ten' is produced with heavily smoked malt, which is unusual for a Speyside whisky. This makes it quite interesting and complex as smoke cleverly marries with the traditional fruitiness of the distillery. Obviously, it matures for ten yeras.
