It was the beginning of the 60s, when Anastasios Mourikis, young at the time, began to learn the secrets of beekeeping. It wasn't long before he had his own beehives. At the end of the next decade, his wife offered him her valuable help. Of their children, Panagiotis continues the family tradition. With technical training and scientific knowledge, the youngest of the four descendants undertook the modernization of the unit, in Stefani Boiotias. Now, by his side is also his sister, Maria, who gives a great boost to the team that produces Meli Mourikis.
