Ponthier

André Ponthier and his wife founded the company Ponthier as fresh fruit traders. At the same time, they invested in land and planted apple trees, mulberry trees and blackberries. Andre invented a new cooking and preservation process by creating the first series of vacuum-cooked chestnuts. These chestnuts are recognized today as the benchmark of quality. To this day, Ponthier produces fruit purees of the highest quality.
