Don Papa 7 Υ.Ο. 700ml

Don Papa Rum was created at the foot of the active volcano Mt. Kanlaon, where the best sugarcane is ground to produce a sweet, rich molasses. Cane comes from Southeast Asia. The Philippines is historically one of the top ten sugarcane producers in the world! The island of Negros, or Sugarlandia, as the locals call it, produces more than half of the country's total sugar production. "Don Papa" is a tribute to Papa Isio, the real and charismatic leader of the Negros, who in 1890 helped the island and gained the independence of Sugarlandia from the Spaniards.

Tasting Characteristics

Intense aromas of vanilla, orange peel and caramelized corn. In the mouth it has flavours of caramelized fruit, cream and honey. The finish is mostly sweet.

The process

Don Papa rum Ages for 7 years in 2 types of barrels, in American oak bourbon barrels and in American Rioja barrels.

Enjoy plain or in the rocks.
