Pampero Especial 700ml

The story of the Ron Pampero company begins in 1938 with two friends with little distillation experience, but with an unquenchable passion for making rum. Alejandro Hernandez and Luis Toro were determined to put things right and to do as they were supposed to. And so it was when they took for example the bold step for the season to age rum in oak barrels. Inspired by the story of the Llaneros (Venezuelan cowboys who fought for independence) they adopted their symbol which still exists today to evoke passion and historicity.

Creamy, herbal, with an oak feel and notes of vanilla, honey and sweet dried fruits.

The process

The founders of Pampero began aging their rum in oak barrels in 1938, Especial became the first Venezuelan rum officially named anejo. Triple distillation contributes to the production of a bright, rich golden color, which indicates the complexity of the Caribbean coast, mountains, forests and valleys. Especial ages in oak barrels, previously used to age Bourbon whiskey up to five times.
