Absolut Pears 700ml

Absolut Pears was first released in 2007 and is one of the youngest members of the Absolut family. As with all newcomers, here too, people embraced her in a short time.

Tasting Characteristics

The taste of Absolut Pears is fresh and delicate, with a touch of ripe pear and a long-lasting fruity finish. The juicy, full-bodied character of Absolut Pears is fruity in taste and soft. The special aroma and taste of pear leaves a mild finish of freshness.

The process

In 1879, Lars Olsson Smith introduced continuous distillation, through which he produced Absolut Rent Brannvin. Instead of distilling three or four times, the vodka went through innumerable distillations. Absolut Pears is made in the same way. The only difference is the taste of pear and, like the rest of the family, it is also produced in Ahus, Sweden, the birthplace of Lars Olsson Smith. The main ingredients of Absolut Pears are Absolut Vodka and pear flavor. Absolut Vodka is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Ahus, protected from pollutants. Winter wheat is also grown in Ahus and differs from other crops: it is sown in autumn and harvested in the same period of the following year. In the meantime, it grows under the Swedish snow, growing its hard seeds. The use of fertilizers is limited. Pears are natural, as are the other ingredients.

Served

On the rocks, simply with juice or in a cocktail.
