Connemara Distillers Edition Single Malt 700ml

Connemara is distilled on the Cooley Peninsula, in the Earl of Louth of the east coast. The majestic mountains, the light rains, the fog, the lakes and the clear running waters, drained to the east by the winds of the Atlantic, provides Connemara with a special character.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose a smell of pine resin brings real freshness, that leads to a soft peat aroma. In the mouth flavors of honey, pear, green apple and peat fade quickly into a slight bitterness, along with a sense of smoked cream and baked toast. Long finish, with an idea of wood smoke, licorice and clove.

The process

The Connemara Distilellers Edition is distilled only twice, which sets it apart from traditional Irish whiskies. It then matures in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels, acquiring this dynamic and aromatic character.
