The name Fercullen is the anglicized version of "fera cualann", the ancient gaelic name for the Powerscourt wider area. It is a reference to the nearby Wicklow Mountains. Tasting Characteristics

Aromas of cinnamon, fresh fruit, brown sugar, toffee and malt. Taste is rich, smooth and sweet, with vanilla glaze, spices and a peppery clove finish.

The Process

At a 1:1 proportion, the malt whiskey has matured in ex-bourbon barrels, while the grain in a combination of ex-bourbon and new heavy char oak casks.

Plain or with ice.
