Tasting Characteristics

Extremely complex aromatic character, where sweet aromas of citrus fruit (orange), raisin, vanilla, toasted bread, biscuit, and cinnamon stand out. In the mouth it is extremely soft with spicy notes and sweet flavors of orange, fruit cake, caramel and chocolate in its aftertaste.

The process

Tullamore Dew Single Malt 18 years is an 18 year old whiskey, which is triple distilled, as is customary with the majority of Irish Whiskeys, but the difference lies in the fact that this particular whiskey was finished in traditional oak casks and at the end it remained for over 6 months in Oloroso Sherry, Port, Madeira and Bourbon casks acquiring incredible complexity and sweet aromas.
