Ballantine's is the No.2 Scotch whisky in the world. Its history begins in 1827, when its founder, George Ballantine, opened his first store in Edinburgh. Distilled in Scotland, Ballantine's offers a complete line of high quality blended Scotch whiskies, available worldwide.

Τasting Characteristics

Expressive aromatic bouquet, with hints of barley malt, milk caramel, as well as oak notes, from its maturing in oak barrels. Rich in texture, with a sweet sense in the mouth and with a subtle touch of peat. Soft and velvety, with a salty aftertaste.

The Process

Ballantine's Finest is the oldest expression of the current series, created in 1910 by the Ballantine family. This blend contains more than 40 malts and grains. All have been carefully selected from four different iconic areas of Scotland.
