Macallan 12 Y.O. Single Malt Double Cask 700ml

The first officially recorded bottling of Macallan took place in 1824. The peculiarly small capacity of the distillers contribute to its rich and fruity character. The rich colors of Macallan are 100& natural, coming exclusively from the wood of the excellent oak barrels.

Tasting Characteristics

The tastes of vanilla and citrus, derived from American oak, dominate, while the tastes of sherry and spices are also intense and familiar to Macallan lovers. The aromas of butterscotch combine with aromas of apple, candied orange and wood.

The process

Macallan 12 Y.O. Double Cask has been aged in a combination of American oak barrels and european ex-sherry Oloroso casks.

Enjoy on the rocks, plain or with drops of mineral water.
