Tasting Characteristics

Bright amber in appearance, it has a complex and fully expressive nose, with wonderful aromas of dried fruit taking center stage. Rich in the mouth, with a soft texture and intensity of aromas reminiscent of honey, jam, cinnamon and generally "hot" spices, such as nutmeg. Vanilla and ginger stand out in the base and last until the aftertaste.

An exciting new release from The Macallan, matured in a combination of American and European oak casks that housed Sherry for at least 12 years.
