Named the "Best Single Malt Whisky in the World" at the 2007 World Whiskies Awards, Talisker 18 Year Old is a single malt masterpiece.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose aromas of Victoria plums, greengages, orange peels, butterscotch, rum and smoke. Its palate is sweet at first, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke. The overall effect is warming. As it develops, it is enriched with medium-lasting organic flavors and afterwards ends with hints of chili.

The process

Aged for a minimum of 18 years in oak casks.

Served

A splash of water will bring out the notes of fruit, toffee and smoke.
