The history of Tamdhu Distillery begins at the end of the Victorian era, on the banks of the river Spey, where it operates until today, according to the vision and principles of the founder. The maturation barrels used today are of the same type as those used in the distillery when founded, in 1897.

Tasting Characteristics

Aromas of cinnamon rolls, boiled oranges, fresh oak and mint. In the mouth it has a soft sense, with flavours of banana, berry jam, malt cookies and in the background flavours from sherry barrels. The finish is long and balanced, with notes of ground spices, dried fruit and peat.

The process

Μatures exclusively in sherry barrels for a dozen of years.

Served

Enjoy on the rocks, plain or with drops of mineral water.
