Testing Characteristics

A deep ruby colour with purple tints. Pronounced nose intensity of small red berries, and aromas of spices and vanilla. On the palate is dry with medium plus body, ripe soft tannins, medium acidity and fruity aftertaste.

Vineyard

The 20 hectare vineyards of Avantis Estate are situated in Afrati region in Central Evia, the vineyards are at an altitude of 250 - 500 m. lying on flat places, semi-mountainous slopes or even steep mountainous ones. Τhe soil range is clay, sand clay, gravel stone depending on the spot.

Ageing potential 5 – 7 years

Harmony

It pairs well with steak, red meat with red sauces and matured yellow cheeses.
