Tasting Characteristics

The colour is similar to that of a French wine. Aromas of flowers and forest fruits are framed by mild tanins. The aftertaste reminds of oak, in which maturation took place, for one year.

Variety Composition

Mavro Messenicola 70%, Syrah and Carignan 30%.

Vineyard

The winery has 70 acres of proprietary vineyards and cooperates with about 100 local growers.

Harmony

Paired with red meat of any kind, dishes with red sauces, smoked cheese or salami, but also with fruits, like apples or pears.

At 16 - 18°C, after breathing for 15'.
