Tasting Characteristics

This wine has a bright ruby colour with aromas of cherry marmalade, plum, cinnamon and vanilla. This medium-bodied wine is round and elegant, with an attractive velvet texture.

Merlot 40%, Mavrodaphne 60%

Vineyard

In the areas of Kallithea and Peristera of Achaia at an altitude of 150 up to 300 meters. Sandy loam soil with a production of 1000 kg per acre.

Vinification – Maturation

Fermentation and extraction with gentle stirring and low temperatures reaching 19°C. Stay in 3rd and 4th use 225lt oak barrels for 12 months.

Harmony

It pairs well with sta served with red sauces, as well as veal, meatballs, steaks, pizza, grilled liver, sausage and soft cheeses.
