Tasting Characteristics

Aromas of black and red fresh fruits, elegant botanical character, earth and spices. In the mouth the body is medium with a solid but at the same time round tannic structure and high acidity. The aftertaste is long and complex.

Vineyard

Blend of the best parcels of the estate, 44 years old, certified organic. 70% are located around Trilofos village. 30% comes the surroundings of Fytia village.

Vinification – Maturation

Grapes are 60% de-stemmed ,macerated for 40 days and fermentation has been completed with indigenous yeasts. Maturation for 18 months in third-use, 500-litre French oak barrels.

Harmony

Ideally accompanies baked lamb, pork on a spit, baked venison, meat with rich red sauce, aged yellow cheeses.
