Ypioca Reserva Castanheira (Prata) 700ml

Cachaca Ypioca, is the result of four generations of distillers of the Telles family, since 1846, when Dario Telles De Menezes became the owner of the distillery. Ypioca, is the largest producer of cachaca in Brazil.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has aromas of banana, smoked bread, grapes and green apple. There are also notes of spices. In the mouth, the spices become more intense, mainly those of cinnamon and black pepper. They are accompanied by flavours of green apples, raisins and butter. Its finish is spicy, with hints of bread.

The process

Its high quality is ensured by the careful selection and sorting of sugar canes, as well as the use of only five of the available varieties. The careful grounding for 36 hours is catalytic, since fermentation comes right after, for the development of alcoholic degrees. After distillation, Cachaca Ypioca ages in about 20 different types of casks, to develop and improve the aromatic and tasting characteristics. Finally, blending before bottling is crucial, to ensure the consistency of the taste profile of Cachaca Ypioca.
