Τasting Characteristics

It features a deep purple colour and intense aromas of red berries, cedar and nuts with hints of herbs. It has a charming body with balanced acidity and soft tannins. Its finish is long, massy and complex.

Sangiovese 35%, Cabernet Franc 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20 %, Merlot 15 %

Vineyard

From selected low yield vineyards in northern Greece- Macedonia, at the local communities of Agora and Pigadia.

Vinification – Maturation

Each variety follows separate fermentation in stainless steel tanks, at low temperature for one week. The vinification starts with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and then we add Sangiovese. The whole procedure takes around 15 days and is followed by the malolactic fermentation. The wine ages in new or second used oak barrels for 12 months.

An excellent match for aged cheeses, grilled meat, red meat and game cooked dishes with complex sauces.
