Royal Dock is a Navy Strength Gin. The royal navy was supplied with this particular type of gin, as it was 57% ABV. Even if it was poured on the cannon wicks, these could still ignite!

Tasting Characteristic

On the nose it is floral, with citrus aromas, mainly those of orange blossoms. In the mouth the sensation is gentle, with strong element of juniper. The finish retains the previously described characteristics.

The process

It is distilled in a copper pot, with 10 different herbs. The exact recipe has been secret for at least 150 years.

Served

Traditionally served in a Gimlet, a Pink Lady and a Martini.
