Tasting Characteristics

Red wine from Burgundy. With intense and bright red ruby ??color. It has attractive aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cherry as well as hints of vanilla. Elegant taste, with balanced acidity, fruit and soft tannins.

Vineyard

The average age of the vines is 40 years. Soil typical of Burgundy, rich in clay and limestone.

Vinification – Maturation

Fermentation in open wooden vats followed by a maturing on fine lees (25% new oak barrels / 75% barrels aged 1 and up to 5 years) for 12 months.

Harmony

Ideal combination with grilled salmon and trout, lobster, red meat, duck, mushrooms, grilled vegetables, mushroom risotto, pizza, cheeses such as Comte and goat cheese.
