Tasting Characteristics

It has a floral character, with notes of honey, roasted almonds, butter and mushrooms. Mouth is full of herbal elements. The finish is long-lasting, with flavours of lemongrass and sage.

The process

Produced with the remnants of the winemaking process, from a blend of different grape varieties (sangiovese, trebbiano, cabernet, aglianico, falanghina) and is bottled at 40% vol.

Served

In Italy, grappa is mostly served as a digestivo (after-dinner drink). Also makes a great cocktail base.
