Redbreast 12 Y.O. Single Pot Still 700ml

Redbreast dates back to 1903, when Jameson struck a deal with import company Gilbeys Wines & Spirits Import Company, to supply them with new drinks from his Bow Distillery. Those days, distilleries sold bulk whiskey to "bonders" who, as they imported fortified wines, such as sherry and port, had plenty of empty barrels to mature new whiskeys.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose aromas of apple, orange peel, honey, nuts and spices. Mouth is multi-layered, with a velvety taste and a persistent aftertaste.

The process

An excellent, balanced Irish single pot still whiskey, that partially ages in bourbon and sherry barrels, creating a complex enjoyable result.
