Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it is smooth and soft, with buttery hints of walnuts, hazelnuts, barley, cereals and peat. Honey and malt dominate in the mouth. The finish is soft and smooth.

The process

Kilbeggan Traditional is a double distillation blend of a single malt whiskey, with a lighter grain whiskey. It has matured for at least 4 years in ex-bourbon casks.
