Tasting Characteristics

Fresh, with strong aromas of nuts, wood and spices and noticeable notes of honey and vanilla. Soft and crunchy in the mouth, with the sense of nuts remaining and the flavour of the smoked cask enhancing. In the finish, the sweetness disappears, with the elements of malt and wood remaining.

The process

Distilled thrice, using the best quality barley and water, from the East Cork region of Ireland. Paddy combines the styles of three different types of whiskey produced in Ireland: pot still, grain and malt. The triple distillation, the blend of pot still, grain and malt and the long aging in oak barrels give Paddy its mature aromas and soft, penetrating taste. Bottled at 40% abv.
