Teeling Blackpitts Single Malt 700ml

Teeling Blackpitts is the first single malt from the group in Dublin, named after the Blackpitts area just behind the distillery, well known for its malt production.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has aromas of tobacco, clove, butter and orange peel. The sense of smoke in the mouth is intense, along with the presence of honey, spices, boiled pears and pineapple. In the aftertaste the salt caramel, the wood and the salty smoke are evident.

The process

It aged in ex-bourbon and sauternes casks, adding sweetness to the dominant peat.

Served

Enjoy on the rocks, plain or with drops of mineral water.
