Tasting Characteristics

The nose has aromas of sweet cherry, mango and banana, along with elements of savory caramel, sweet malt and spices. In the mouth it tastes like lemon, caramelized pineapple and brown sugar, accompanied by notes of wood and dried fruit. The finish consists of flavors of sweet orange, ripe banana, caramel and spices.

The process

The creators of the popular Irish whiskey, without changing anything from the established process of triple distillation, triple mixing and triple aging in three different types of barrels of the classic version, added another stage of maturation, in barrels previously utilized in rum preparation. First time used in whiskey making, they create a soft, multi-layered flavor with sweet and tropical notes.
