Its name is inspired by the winds that come from Mount Miwa, the mountain of God, in the city of Nara, the ancient capital of Japan. The word "kami" means "god" and the word "iki" means "breath".

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose it has aromas of citrus blossoms, roasted apple and dried fig, with light smoky notes. In the mouth it is fragrant with scents of flowers and apricots and slightly smoky. Finish is slightly peppery with aromas of vanilla and pine.

The process

Matures for three and a half years, the first three in ex-bourbon casks and the rest in Japanese cedar barrels (Yoshino Sughi). Not chill-filtered.

Served

Enjoy on the rocks, plain or with drops of mineral water.
