A really old distillery, with a history that dates back to 1810. In 1963 a group of ambitious people moved to a generous reconstruction, offering new life to the island itself. Their purpose was to produce the best single malt possible. Judging from Jura's commercail success, they did it!

Tasting Characteristics

Jura 10 Y.O. is the distillery's core expression. Ιτ has the characteristic pine, cereal and vanilla aromas, along with the creamy caramel, honey and liquorice flavors. Aftertaste is dominated by pepper and dark chcolate.

The process

Initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, before enjoying a finishing period in Oloroso sherry butts. Bottled at 40% vol.

Enjoy on the rocks or plain.
