Tasting Characteristics

Wine with a golden yellow color with greenish highlights.. Fine, fruity aromas of apple, pear and conitrus in the nose and citrus flower blossoms. Rich and round in the mouth, with balanced acidity and hints of white peach.

Zitsa (Puria, Dragatsoura) (altitude 700 m.) Vineyards on slopes with small yields per acre.

Vinification & Maturation

Pre-fermentation extraction at low temperature, 8 – 10°C for 24 hours. Following is the fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with selected fungi. Short stay of the new wine on fine lees.

Harmony

It is ideally combined with white meats such as chicken but also with fish, seafood, shellfish. It can be an ideal match for green mixed salads, small delights and delicious pies of Epirus.
