Blanton's Original Single Barrel 700ml

High quality bourbon coming to us from Kentucky, USA, Blanton's owes its name to Colonel Blanton, a pillar of the company since 1897 and for 55 consecutive years. The Blanton distillery was one of only four in the United States to obtain a special permit during the Prohibition and to operate smoothly, while during World War II it was asked to stop whiskey production and produce pure alcohol for troops. Today, after the modernization of the facilities in 1984, the company continues the tradition of bourbon distillation, receiving significant distinctions, especially in the international competition of spirits in San Francisco.

Tasting Characteristics

On the nose intensely spicy aromas of dried citrus and orange peel with a trace of caramel and vanilla. In the mouth full and soft with a characteristic mixture of burnt sugar, caramel, orange and clove. Balanced finish with vanilla, honey and citrus.

It matures in new wooden casks.
