Tasting Characteristics

Alluring red colour. Complex bouquet of fruity(blackberry, dried fig) and botanical traits (pepper) which are combined with notes of spices and vanilla, a result of the intense aging in the barrel. Rich structure and body, with live tannins and pleasant aftertaste as well as a satisfying prospect in time.

Vineyard

Karipidis Estate is a family owned winery, which is situated in Vounaina in Thessaly, in Central Greece and manages 300 hectares of privately owned vineyard.

Vinification – Maturation

A wine with great perspective in time. It matures for 36 months in French oak. Limited bottling. It can be stored up to 12 years.

Harmony

It pairs well with roasted duck or in the oven, with grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
