Tasting Characteristics

M Barrique is a red wine with a characteristic ruby color. On the nose it produces fruity aromas, such as sour cherry, red raspberry and blueberry, chocolate, vanilla and tobacco. It has medium acidity, round and medium tannins. In the mouth it has flavors of ripe red fruits, jam and sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove. Medium body, with a medium aftertaste.

50% Merlot - 50% Mouchtaro

Vineyard

Semi-montane Merlot vineyard with south-east exposure and linear configuration.

Mouchtaro vineyard in the valley of the Muses on the south-eastern slopes of Helikon (peak with a height of 1280 meters) at 420 meters altitude.

Vinification - Maturation

It ages for 12 months in oak barrels.

Harmony

Served with beef, lasagna, moussaka, lamb ragout, thick red wine sauce, mushroom risotto and yellow hard cheeses.
