Tasting Characteristics

The wine has a bright orange color with violet hints and dominant aromas of strawberry, cherry, and boysenberries. It is a refreshing and fascinating rose wine balancing well a seductive sweetness and a crisp acidity.

Variety Composition

Syrah 60%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%

Vineyard

The vineyards are located in the Selianitika region of Achaia in the Peloponnese at an altitude of 350m. The soil is a mixture of sand and clay and the grape yields are about 8000kg per hectare.

Vinification – Maturation

Skin contact 6 -10 hours for each grape variety separately. Stainless steel tank fermentation at 15°C temperature to retain primary fruit aromatics. The fermentation is arrested with cooling at approximately 10g/L of residual sugar to create an off-dry style of wine.

Harmony

It can be served with a variety of fruits and pastries, as well as Chinese and Thai cuisine. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
