Tasting Characteristics

In the nose is strong and dry, with characteristics of honey, rye, dried fruits, vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth is intense, full and rich with characteristics of apricot, butter, pepper, light honey and wood. Long finish of butter caramel and apple that evolves into pecans and caramel.

The process

Blanton’s Gold Edtition is part of Blanton’s Original Single Barrel, which consists of corn, rye and malted barley. The barrels come from Buffalo Trace's Warehouse H.
